I THINK OF MY ANCESTORS

The scent of lilacs, taste of rain,
Makes me want to walk
down my past lane.
I think of my ancestors, proud and true.
For my other ancestors, this land was new.

I think of how the dead winter has gone away.
So much fighting amongst my ancestors
has gone away.

Spring and summer brings
the scent of lilacs, taste of rain.
In my mind and heart,
bring the feeling of love amongst
my ancestors once again.

Soon we`ll live together
on that bright celestial shore.
All will be peace, love, joy
and life forevermore.
