Just Being Human
Sometimes I allow my mind to run amuck
into fantasy land wild and free.
There I find myself in total freedom
doing things meant only for me.
Just for awhile I am able to roam
in fields of forbidden pleasure.
No bills, no worries to bind me
as I find joy without measure.
Flying free without a single care
enjoying things by God created.
Just flowing with the evening breeze
with a feeling of being elated.
Living a life of wonderment so great
just like birds, butterflies and bees.
Being carefree, I go my way
feeling as DELIRIOUS as I please.
Then responsibilites soon return
to plant my feet upon solid ground.
I realize the garden God has planted me
is filled with blessings so profound.
I am where I am by God's intended fate
and I am to make the most of it.
Again I continue the every day things
not always enjoying it I admit.
I can see God's hand guiding me
teaching me things I should know.
He leads me beside the still waters
showing me the path I should go.
I am His child and I am blessed
with so much to be thankful for.
I appreciate all His goodness and
those with whom I have loving rapport.
