The ever narrowing avenue of time,
Seeking eternity. like the humble will-o-the-wisps
Headed towards extinction.

For you and you alone have that unique ability
To strum my soul like a priceless violin
Teaching me to make music of my life
Meant to inspire others
Making them feel tears and rain
Entertaining and uplifting them

So I may lead them too,
Those who gladly follow you, the sad clown with
His pained face and tear filled eyes
Who moves with such simplicity and beauty
Across the unwritten page with eloquence and grace

Brotherhood of real friendship
To teach me the simplicity of love
The sheer brilliance of truth
