It’s that twinkle in your eyes
Hey girl…no matter how depressed I get
you always seem to have that special thing about you!
I can’t say if it’s your charisma, or that beautiful smile upon that gorgeous face of yours.
I do know! that whatever it is girl, I’ve got this awesome feeling deep within my heart,
You lift my spirit right off the ground, as if I were a school boy
with this school boy crush a so called temporary infatuation.
But then my darling angel I realize when you embrace me near
And I gander upon those beautiful eyes of yours,
It’s that twinkle in your eyes that overwhelm my heart, my soul,
And my mind.
Then darling… I think to myself, this is as close as am ever going to get to heaven, where I can forever feel the clouds in my embrace,
And forever feel your warmth like the sun rising in the eastern horizon,
And then darling when your teardrops fall am like a child catching raindrops in my mouth, tasting the very essence of your love.
And you know darling, no matter how many times that I have ever told you, that I love you girl, but then you know me well enough by that look of admiration in my eyes for you, is a forever thing.
