Get Rid Of The Advertisements

As A Child

Whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God
as a little child will by no means enter it.

Mark10:15

The Lord, in His wisdom,
gave questioning minds
to our children
so they might learn.
With wisdom,
we answer them truthfully
so they will also,
when it is their turn.

'Mummy, how come birds have to sing?'

'Why don't planes just fall from the sky?'

'Why was that baby born very sick?'

'Tell me why, mummy, tell me why.'

As we grow,
we learn to search for ourselves,
ever seeking truth.
We should never lose
that inquisitive streak
which we gained
throughout our youth.

How can one then seek heaven
when both mind and body are old?
Being born yet again, to His kingdom
is a privilege more precious than gold.

It is never too late to reach out
and claim that wonderful prize,
with the simple, innocent clarity
found in a sweet child's eyes.
