I Believe We Should Stand Firm in Faith
Fear surrounds and straddles our world today
more dangerous than we are able to comprehend.
Biblical prophesy seems to rapidly be coming to pass
and I believe we might be very close to the end..
We stand around complaining about what we see
feeling helpless to being able to change disturbing facts.
We want to trust those elected to lead our country
and hoping all leaders of the world sensibly interacts.
Jesus warned us of the coming end time trends
telling us what to look for and what to expect.
It has come upon us so slowly and disguised
with different definitions with each different sect.
We must learn to trust, and keep faith in goodness
I believe God will be in control through the ages.
We must not panic or turn from God's Holy Words
as we begin to see the terrible evil that rages.
One day at a time, encouraging each other with hope
holding our stand that Jesus is the truth and the light.
Christians may suffer more than we could ever dream
but I believe perseverance is necessary to win the fight.
II Timothy 3:1-5,7 'But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.'
