The Dinner Date

To dinner we went to a restaurant first class
It was decorated in gold and shining bright brass
Our friendship had become much more than just that
You whispered ' I love you ' in my ear as we sat
The waiter arrived and he gave you a key
Then said to you ' Sir, will you follow me? '
I noticed out of the kitchen the smoke that arose
The aroma of burnt food arrived at my nose
I realized you tried to cook much to my surprise
They then tossed us out so we got burgers and fries
