One At A Time

Walking alongside the shoreline of life
I noticed how rough was the sea
No warning was given, the tidal wave hit
and washed up alot of debris

Entangled in seaweed and struggling in filth
Were starfish just barely alive
Helplessly waiting and gasping for air
and trying their best to survive

I knelt down beside one and I picked it up
Then gently I tossed it back in
The now peaceful waters had cleansed and revived
this life that was covered with sin

I wepted as the darkness was closing in fast
I hurried and tried not to stall
Though tired and weary I prayed to the Father
'Lord ,Please help me get to them all!'

'Continue to work for thy coming is soon.'
'Tell every lost soul that you find,
and be not discourage.' He whispered to me.
'Keep witnessing one at a time.'
