Coyote Spirit

I can show you yourself
I can hurt you to help you
I will teach you the secrets of life
Everything is sacred, so treat it well
Nothing is sacred, so let it go
I can laugh at my mistakes, can you?
I have trust in truth, do you?
Your children will, if you teach them.
Do you know where the line falls
between risk and safety?
Do you know how hide
and walk on your toes?
I can show you with a flick of my tail
I can teach you to let your masks fail
And I can sing you to life
With just a flick of my tail.
You may not understand yet
Why I make the rain fall upon you
But in time you will.
