Captain's Log...Supplementary

‘My name is James T. Kirk,
I’m the Captain of this ship.
I wake up with a smirk,
as into folklore now we slip.’

‘We’re the original and best,
and we’re really out of this world.
On every planet dream at rest,
then ‘stars and stripes’ gets unfurled.’

‘The star dates are important,
though I can’t remember why.
My space drink is so potent,
I thought that I could fly.’

‘Ah’ jus’ doant hav thu powarr...’
Scottie tells the bridge.
‘I give him half an hour,
he’s nicked the beers from my fridge.’

‘As the world falls down around us,
it’s illogical!’ cries Spock.
‘Scottie’s making such a fuss,
but he’s so drunk he can’t walk.’

‘Mr. Spock!’ I say quite loud,
‘I’ve had a couple too.
If you weren’t so Vulcan proud,
you’d down yourself a few.’

‘Jim, it’s ‘Bones’ are you alright?
I’m sorry I’m so late,
there’s something in the air tonight.
Man...can you fly this crate?’

‘Don’t worry Bones my friend,
it’s Scottie’s whiskey that I stole.
And I think we’ve reached the end,
we’re flying into a Black Hole...’
