Within your embrace
The days pass so fast,
I start to wonder where the time has gone
and as I gaze upon this photograph of you and me,
it seems like time was standing still,
for I look at you today and I must say,
you’re still as gorgeous as you were in this photograph.
I recall back then the feelings to be held within your embrace,
for nothing has changed, the feelings are still the same,
ever so mesmerizing, ever so soft your were within my arms,
and darling not a day has ever passed,
that I regret any moment of loving you,
for if I could darling, I do it all over again.
I’d count every grain of sand
that has fallen from the hour glass,
and visualize that very special point of time in our lives,
where we laughed, where we cried,
where we knelt down and prayed
because the moment was right.
And you know darling
even if time has passed us by
does it really mean that much,
for time can’t change the feelings
that we hold within our hearts .
