Never Give Up In Life
My mind seems dry no words appear
I have lost the urge to write I fear
Feeling no emotions of love or desire
No longings for passion's fire
Will it return or forever be gone
Why does it hide, making me yawn
I am in limbo reached life's plateau
Remembering when he was my beau
Love so sweet filled our many days
Passion swept over as flowing craze
Times were hard we had our dreams
Love shone through with it's gleams
Many years passed changes made
Together we have always stayed
Battled the storms that came our way
Memories hidden in a special cache
One lesson I have learned is to endeavour
Never give up in life, carry hope and faith forever
Be thankful for successes and dreams fulfilled
Treasure each moment you were thrilled
There will come a time at the end of your road
You will think back on blessings bestowed
These memories bring joy and comfort to you
When you're ready to bid this world adieu
