Miss You Most

Miss You Most

I miss you most before the dawn
Before night sounds begin to fade
When stars and clouds might still persuade
Thoughts and dreams from memories drawn.
Time holds its breath, a silent pawn,
And I cling to these moments made
To be cherished, softly displayed
In solace dark to gaze upon...

How much I wish to be, to stay,
Here where dreams and your whispers play,
When dawn becomes temptation's ghost
Erasing shadows left behind,
By sorrow's toll on troubled mind...
Lost in time where I miss you most
