Tears   Hiding in the shadows So no-one can see These tears that fall So freely I hide away Where others can’t see The pain I have Inside of me Pain of loss And of heartache too Some painful things That I’ve been through However, today I have decided To see myself free I am Stepping out of the shadows And letting other’s See That sometimes life hurts Deep down inside We cry oceans of tears Before our eyes Dry But pain and hurting Is a part of life Releasing the tears Makes us feel better Inside It cleanses our souls Helps to ease the pain To hold the tears in Would just cause More pain I set mine free I let them flow After all I am human You know There are people who cry At the drop of a hat I have never been, a person Like that I cry when I’m sad When my heart is, Broken in two I sometimes, Cry when I’m scared And don’t know what To do Happy tears Yes I’ve shed a few I cried tears of joy when my daughter was born and When my daughter graduated And when I got married too However, it seems to me That I’ve cried the most When I’ve had to let A loved one go It’s that final goodbye That does me in Knowing I will never See them or hear Their voice Again I wrote this poem To let you know It is okay To let your tears Flow Let them out Don’t hold them in Cry your eyes out Then cry again Just let them flow Down your face Stepping out of the shadows Letting everyone see I am human And these tears Are just a part Of me Follow the dream Hostess Cskpoetmuse (Cheryl) Phrase Stepping out of the shadows Pick your theme my theme is tears By badmac © 2009 badmac (All rights reserved)
