Trying a poem on for Size
I never agonized, was never stigmatized.
I was never demonized
I was merely mesmerized.
I truly hope you've realized
you are a gift and you are prized.
Underneath wide prairie skies
we said hello but no goodbyes.
I knew that we would harmonize
the moment that I saw your eyes.
You are the prince in any guise,
within my heart, to no surprise
you are the one, there's no disguise
will hide this love within our eyes.
I was surprised to recognize
that special love within your eyes.
You have come to symbolize
something I can't jeopardize.
You still epitomize what you characterize.
