Be proud of yourself when you look in the mirror each day
To know that you are beautiful and unique in your own special way
To be proud of the achievements as you take life in stride
My kind friend, follow your dreams and let your heart be your guide
In life there are so many wonders and mysteries in which to unravel
So many paths and roads to different places in which to travel
Some journeys in life will take us near, some take us so far
As you look in the mirror always be proud of yourself just the way that you are
Many things we overlook when we are feeling sad and so low
In your heart each day always remember how much others love you so
At times we have so much hurdles and worries that seem to mount
Along lifes busy path, remember that there also are many blessings to count
Be proud of the achievements you make when someone says congratulations to you
Reach within yourself, for you always have the inner strength and courage to see you through
Just be yourself as you take life each day in stride
As you look into the mirror always know that you are beautiful inside
There are always so many curves and bends in the road along the way
Don't let the obstacles in life to follow your dreams get in your way each day
You may find yourself wondering in life which direction to go
Sometimes we find upon our face the winds get gusty and begin to suddenly blow
Be proud of yourself each day when you look in the mirror to
For there are many good qualities and things, so let that inner strength and courage shine through
