WALKING IN THE MIST   scroll down then up for midi to play She loved to wander in the mist at night Where'er the road might lead... Not afraid of anything at all Found nothing she must heed Loved to watch the night birds And hear their screaching songs Feeling leaves beneath her feet As she wandered on along... How often had she done this Oh my! since but a little child Use to worry Mom and Dad Afraid she'd be lost in the wild Nothing to her ever seemed wild She saw but beauty in the night Sometimes it was very dark Sometimes she walked in moonlight Almost the same path she took Each time that she would go Always wandered by the creek To hear the water's flow... In summer she would take off shoes Put feet right into water sweet She loved the cool, cool waters As she splashed her tiny feet Tonight somehow was different She thought she'd lost her way Didn't really worry her ...
