'The Oak Tree And The Willow'

The Oak stands
tall
and stoutly proud

its branches
stretching towards
the
clouds

its roots planted
mightily
in Earth's firm
ground

There's no more
handsome
tree
around

The Willow grows
not far
away

her branches
bend and
gracefully
sway

She blushes
at
the Handsome
Oak

who makes her
sigh
and
her branches
cloak

her shapely
trunk
lending mystery

to the lovely
shape
of this lovely
tree

long have they
had
a
Love Affair

She whispering
softly
to him
there

to the Mighty Oak
who
sways and
groans

for what can he
but stand
his
ground

tempted by
the loveliest
Willow
around!
