POEM FOR MY STARLITE FRIENDS
TO MY STARLITE FRIENDS
Could it have been in a past life
or within a dream I once had?
Could it have been my imagination
of some strange distant fad?
Why do I feel that you're a part
of me that was missing before?
How come I feel fulfilled now
experiencing love I can't ignore?
Never doubt my sincerity
never doubt my written words.
Always count me as blessed
but not listed among the nerds.
I may never know the answers
and do I really need to know?
I will enjoy each precious moment
and continue to go with the flow.
I thank God for each blessing
He continues to give me.
Forever I'll give Him honor
for all of life's degree.
