THIS WAS MY NEVER   scroll down then up for midi to play We met so many years ago Just like an old love song We tried, oh yes, we really tried Our song just could not be sung I always shared with others Never to say never...for then When you do, you shut the door You shut the door to ...when I think we tried so many times Just to make things right That finally we just gave up One long and weary night You packed your clothes; come morning You left for another place... I sobbed into my pillow then Your memory cannot be replaced We had so much together It was you and I against the world We took the falls like champions We could have had it all.... I cannot tell you just what day I knew that it was done....
