The Mountain Man
A rock was thrown from far above
A I looked up another pebble dropped on my head
I was itching all over my body like crazy
When I starred up to look...
Those two piercing red eyes were starring back at me
It just took me by a great surprise
Clearly, I was lost in the vast wilderness
Next I knew the man was right in front of me...
Perhaps he wanted something but what ?
Instead of casting his spear he had extended his hand
For the mountain man wanted peace
Just needed for me to become his friend
Took me to the village where the Micmac Indians lived
In the center of the village lie and ancient lake where prayer's were made
A large brown hawk flew through the vast blue sky
Thought, who was I just some common passerby
Yet we both sat and laughed,
While later smoking that peace pipe
After are prayer's were said we left through the open plain
It was there I learned the art of throwing the tomahawk
Among the thrill of dancing in the rain
What a true champion man of sorts
For some thought he was quite absurd
Forget about what you had learned and heard
The mountain man does his best in protecting the land
He took me to a much heightened place
For he had to show me his master plan
For the world I knew before...
Was nothing until I choose to let go and explore
This charge to learn would suddenly open up the door !
