Happy Is...

Happiness is relative to sunshine
and those moments of your life which cause you bliss,
recalling times you may have thought momentous;
yes, the definition, dear, is plain as this.

Seek not happiness secluded in a bottle,
though the booze may give you instants free of pain.
With headaches and the grief you'll feel tomorrow,
you still will have to handle grief again.

True happiness is found in faith and loving,
in trusting God, Who gives us strength to cope.
When you help your fellow man in need of comfort,
they work together, faith and love and hope.

Give your troubles to the Lord, He understands;
when you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
