ALIEN CREATURE
The woman she thought
she knew had totally
slipped out of view
Who was this creature
who now took her place,
as she didn't recognize
its' body or its' face
Somehow the woman
had changed inside and
out and this other
creature, showed faults
she now could not hide,
what was this all about?
There were days she
seemed totally alright,
but other days you
hoped she would stay
out of sight
This creature had an
older face, and age on
it's body you could now
trace
The woman liked it
not one little bit,
but all the evidence
was there when the
lights are well-lit
Oh well, perhaps
this 'alien creature'
will go back into the
shadows for awhile,
and in time, reveal
the woman she once
was, younger, fit
and in style
