Pedels of Devotion

A ten year old sits quietly
afraid to take the task
Unwilling,for he's is terrified
though many people ask
He sees the future very dim
he's petrified inside
But something tells him,'Go ahead,'
'Just give it one more try.'
He puts his foot upon the toy
He sits up high and tall
He's trying to be very brave
recovering from the fall
He moves an inch and in his heart
he knows it will be fine
He wipes his teary eyes again
no longer does he whine.
No handicap can hinder him
He soon goes into motion
His feet are firmly placed upon
the pedals of devotion
His childhood days are far behind
still this lesson will apply
When you feel you can't go anymore
You must get up and try.
