Kids and holidays

Chanllenge Kids and holidays
Hosted by HHazelett26

The first week in June
Is the beginning of a 3-months
Holiday for the kids who attend school
I was one once and look forward too
Our summer holiday away for teachers and books
Out side run and play
Baseball basketball on the playgrounds
Of my little town
Fun in the sun
swiimming with friends all day long
No time for a frown
Just time to clown around
Just like living the american dream
No fears no cares
Party all day long
Into the night we would hang out
On the street corners
Elbow to elbow with friends
Having the time of our lives
Listening to radio play our favorite songs
We would sing along all night long
Must be in by nine before it got dark
So that was our summer time holidays
In my little town way back when
