CELEBRATE TODAY
Yawnnnnnn, it's so nice to sleep in.
The whole week was so busy.
Getting up early, rushing to work.
Walking home tired and worn.
Love my weekends, doing things I love.
Yes there's still house work and such,
Don't tell, but I like it, it feels good to do.
Then meals to cook for my family, a joy.
Although not hot and sunny, is beautiful,
The grass is so green from the rain,
My flowers are blooming so nicely.
I sit here Thanking the Lord for it.
I have had good and bad in my life,
I am thankful for it all, it means I lived.
Sometimes I feel so very sad and alone,
Then God shows me something so beautiful.
He does know our hearts and created wonder.
I celebrate each new day knowing how blessed I am.
I have a home, I have a family, I have friends, and am alive.
I celebrate life because it is a privalage to me each day.
Even at my worst, I know just to be alive is a miracle.
To share the beauty in each day even better.
Sometimes bad things happen, it makes the good better.
So celebrate life to the fullest before it's too late.
Fears for the world abound in all hearts around the world
Yet each of us in some way have been given our blessings
Our reasons for living even if we know not what they are.
To find out we have to live our life complete and see the end.
For me it is waking each day anew, tomorrow may not come
I celebrate by trying to be the best person I can
Being a good mother, wife, friend, and child.
Which I am sure I have failed at times, I am human.
So lets celebrate together this day everyone,
For what better time to do so than now
Spread good cheer among all those we care for.
If the load is heavy, let us help carry it for you.
