Remember are first date
how we walked the misting falls
We talked for hours
breaking down all kind of walls
We walked hand in hand
right near the falls edge
Took pictures of the boats
as we looked over the ledge
The air was moist
and messed up my hair
But we kept right on going
you didn't even care
Such a beautiful place
the winds were fresh and free
No other place at that moment
would I of ever wanted to be
A quick kiss was stolen
just a light brush across our lips
Your hand brushing back my hair
as you traced my face with gentle fingertips
I could have stayed right there forever
right there within your arms
Away from all the worries
and all the up and coming harms
We talked of one day coming back
like on our anniversary
Getting ourselves a room
and continuing this our beautiful love story
I still to this day
remember our time well
as I think of the connection
my eyes start to swell
I miss you
I miss the feel
I miss the knowing
that what we had was real
There was a bond
that to this day holds us dear
and in the back of my mind
I know you're always near
I hold your heart in mine my love
as I hope you hold tight to mine
and never fear how far or near
