Thankfully
Gratitude is my essence, my core
I have so much to be thankful for
Every day life surges within me
And I readily embrace its revelry
Feeling its pulse, grasping its power
Appreciating seconds, minutes, hours
Willing to strive to almost any length
To honor its beauty and its strength
Gifted with a second chance
To newly appreciate life’s dance
I celebrate life yours and mine
Gracious beyond what words define
I have so much to be thankful for

Abundant blessings flowing over me
