The violets are still blue

If not for friends like you.
Strong, witty and genuine
Standing by what you believe,
Two such people, friends of mine.
We taunt and tease, please don't leave.
Our respect and caring is ever true,
Variety is the spice of life
So glad we all can have our views
Friendly debates, not to bring strife.
We all want the same in the end
Peace, freedom and answers from above
A world we wish we could mend
Somehow spread it full of love.
The roses can be purple and black,
The roses can be blowing in the wind
When the chips are down, we got your back
