WHEN TO WALK

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed
Depressed with how things are going,
I take a walk down the road to think.
To find what I truly feel and want.

I chat with God while pondering,
Asking him which way to go,
Confusion can be a terrible strife.
He always fills me understanding, direction.

I am far from perfect, I stumble,
Fears and doubts pull at me sometimes.
Anger and hurt sometimes explode.
The trick is to know when to walk.

When to give yourself time to breath,
Figure out which way to go for you.
Gain new insight and re evaluate.
Then things seem a little easier to face.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed
Depressed with how things are going,
I take a walk down the road to think.
To find what I truly feel and want.
