WHAT IMPRESSIONS

What impressions will be left behind,
Will it be of simple life gone unnoticed
Exuberant riches and fame over blown
Goodwill shared from heart, never forgotten.

What impressions will be left behind
What engraved words will be left in memmory
Should it matter, won't be here to know
What words will be left in hearts to carry on

What impression will be left behind
Immortality is in the hearts that remember
Passed from one generation to another
Thoughts of who once was, embedded there.

What impressions will be left behind
What lessons can be learned from it
What makes it so important to leave them
Questions all ask in deep pondering minds.
