LETTING GO
I thought that letting go
would be so easy to do,
but you left a
smoldering fire upon
my lips, and somehow
the desire just never
seems to fade, since in
your arms I laid
Each memory of you
that comes to mind,
allows the tears within
the oceans of my eyes
to well, and the thought
of letting go is too unkind
No matter what I try to
do, letting go and getting
over you seems impossible
with a love this true
Perhaps the story is
unfinished yet, who knows
what is in store, all I know
my love is, that you I can
never forget, I just seem
to love you more and more
