SANDCASTLES OF LIFE

The beach is a haven
Where subconscious thoughts,
Can flow like the ocean
Where peace is found of sorts.

Where happiness of childhood
In pictures of joy can be found
Laughter under the blue sky
Where sandcastles of life are sound.

The love the kisses and cuddles
In grandma's diary will be told,
In fifty or sixty years of time
Read by grandchildren young and old.

The love the simple things of life
Were a glorious fun filled day by the sea,
We sung to our hearts content on the way home
Mum, Dad, grandad, grandma and me.
