Lets Pretend
Let us dance down the lane
Of make believe
Past Lollipops bridge
And the lemon drop trees.
We can slide down the side
Of old Blueberry Hill,
And land a big fish
From the Pelican's bill.
We can catch us a ride
On a shooting star.
And wave to the daisies
From wherever we are.
If we hurry we can swim
In the chocolate sea,
The most luscious place
There ever could be.
Hurry or we'll miss
The tin-can train
To where gum drops are singing
Their sweet refrain.
Isn't it grand
Come along with me
To make believe land
Where the Lollipops are free.
Tomorrow we can go there
Again and again
To that wonderful land
Of let's pretend.
