Reflections in mind's mirror
illuminates clear view
crayola colored Blessings
with painted rainbow hue
His beauty all around me
thankful I have eyes
reaching for the 'morrows
looking toward the skies
As I sit and ponder
thankful I can think
with pen in hand I scribble
ev'ry thought in ink
Each new day, a beautiful gift
with sights, smells and sounds
thankful for my senses
joys in life I've found
I skip thru country pastures
green grass tickling toes
stop to smell red roses
essence finding nose
To hear an ocean lullaby
find warmth in morning sun
be kissed by satin snowflakes
waltz with one true love
Gazing on a starry night
as memories unfold
whispers of an Autumn breeze
with echoes hugging soul
Sweet laughter of young children
so thankful I can hear
clutching ev'ry heartprint
shared throughout the years
Days of yore resurface
tiptoe 'cross my mind
within each little crevice
live mem'ries, safe and sound
The bond of friends and family
enrich my daily life
'n always will be cherished
placed on mem'ries shelf
Thankful for my being
taking time to Pray
'tis shelter from harsh elements
when troubles come my way
Days and nights of wonder
what will the future bring?
I wander into fantasy
know what will be, will be
Thankful I am breathing
although some days are grim
I look to higher power
place all trust in Him
In happy times or sadness
I try to understand
for everything, a reason
in arms of Master's Plan
Look within minds mirror
allow visions into view
reflect on daily Blessings
He's given me and you
