Clock Talk

I watch the clock, the seconds tick
too fast, too fast, I'm feeling sick.
Yet the clock ticks ever on.
I'll seize each moment 'fore they're gone.

Though killing time's a nasty deed
it fills the days up well indeed.
Meeting deadlines is my way
to fill up every single day.

Someone's move and someone's talk;
someone's lying to the clock.
The clock ticks ever, ever on;
the moments pass and then are gone.
