Midnight Blue

I look above searching for a feeling of complete contentment
my scribbles of midnight are my company
keeping my mind occupied as I wonder
surrounding my spirit oh come quench my thirst

amidst my room is quiet still darkness
I walk in darkness while a moon peeks from shadows
a tiny glow casting light
a glimmer of hope follows me
and I scribble on
my thoughts belong to you
