Excuse Me
I'm not petite, I'm really not.
I'm very wide, my figure's shot.
Though I have an average face,
with ev'ry part in the right place,
in the mirror I fell faint,
it's not a pretty sight, it ain't.
Yes, my figure's sort of lumpy
sort of dumpy, sort of bumpy.
Once it curved, the proper way
now it don't, what can I say?
If something's new I want to try it.
I'm not zealous in my diet.
My diet books are dusty
and my bike is kind of rusty.
I'm really not displeased,
to find I've allergies
to no surprise, to exercise.
ok ok, I rationalize!
My doctor just has lectured me
about the weight that I should be.
His resonant voice still resonates
'You must diet off that weight.
No more empty calories.
No more eating what you please.'
