Reasons to Be
There are only two reasons to be.
That, that you are, or that, that you may become.
Those who chose to be, are.
Those who chose to become something else,
have the future to look forward to.
So be that, that you are,
Or become that, that you can.
Look to the past and regret,
Or look to the future and become.
Dream those dreams that will bring happiness.
Look to what the future holds,
Waiting for you to unlock the secrets of life.
Share those secrets with the ones who are still looking.
Help those who can't see the difference
Between the future and the past.
Understand that;
Not all who look will see,
Not all who see will understand,
Not all who understand,
Will know what to do with the knowledge.
Those who do will be remembered.
