Waiting For The Sun to Shine?
Are you waiting for the sun to shine
Desiring to have someone to call 'mine'
Longing for fullfillment that seems to escape
Wishing for wisdom that is devine?
Needing something you don't have,
Heart is empty, it needs to be fed
Material things there's plenty to share
Needing more than your daily bread?
Come to the cross, forgiveness sweet,
Confession good for every soul,
Lay your burdens at Jesus' feet
Leave complete, and feeling whole.
Each day with Him is an adventure
Fishing for men to introduce him to
Telling others of God's merciful love
Leading them to Heaven to accrue.
Reaching out to those who need help
Encouraging others who come your way
Holding hands of the down and out
Thankful for blessings every day.
This is the way Christ wants us to be
Our fellowman is important to Him
When we give to the least of these
Our cups will be filled to the brim.
