...And The River Cries

Emotions have darkened this abyss of my soul~
As the ebon' layers doom in the sky...
Sorrows running so deep 'tis unfathomable~
Sorrow so great even the river cried;

~*~

Memories of your sweet smile--so easy it comes~
Listening closely-we two-to rhythm and blues~
Drinking out of wines sweet loving cup...
But eventually paying our dues in full;

~*~

Loosing you 'twas as the Eiffel Tower collapsing~
Blacking out--totally--'The City Of Light'
Devastation beyond imaginations tales~
For my own tears have impaired my sight;

~*~

O' sorrow that 'tis so unbearable and relentless~
So deep and unfathomable beyond the shore~
Even the river Seine cried your name yesterday~
Crying because you no longer love me anymore;

~*~

'Tis like a slow dying fever...you know?
Where only parts of your body pass away...
One by one each part goes out-'irrepairable'~
'Tis much like the sunlight... leaving the day;

~*~

This ebon' overwhelms my entire psyche~
It sends e'er more grey clouds into my already dark sky~
Loosing you 'tis still unfathomoble to me...
Why even the river down shore still cries...
