God's Painted Sky

In the sky of blue, a roof over God’s land,
It was created by His great hands.
He put heaven, moon, and stars up above,
This is the way He showed His triangle of love.

Between clouds there’s a journey beyond,
To hide the shining sun, as they move on.
He gave the birds a place to fly,
Way up in His painted sky.

The dark blue clouds have an angry call,
With a thunderstorm or a rain shower to fall.
The sky is painted by a beautiful rainbow,
From up above, to the pot of gold down below.

In the dark of the night, she wears a lovely crown,
It’s really a beauty, a million stars to be found.
This is God’s way to shine His love below,
From the sky to the earth, “He loves us so.”
