The Cross

Considering
all I have done in my life,
in yielding to lustful sensation;
I understand fully the folly incurred
and the cross is my only salvation.

Selah

Thus I turn to the cross,
that old rugged cross,
where in agony, Jesus was slain.
Only He was sufficient to pay the full price,
a Lamb without sin, without stain.

Selah.

Come with me to the cross,
the wonderful cross;
I will lead you to Jesus, my Lord.
The breastplate of righteousness
shall be our strength,
with the Bible, our guide and our sword.

Selah.
