Total Restoration

They are good at burning bridges,
those who live addicted lives,
destroying relationship structures
between families, husbands, wives.

Very often damage is permanent,
too huge a conflagration;
too many hurts, too much pain,
no hope for reconciliation.

A simple carpenter showed the way
to total restoration...
two planks of wood,
three nails, a mallet,
and there you have it
...salvation!
