THE WISEST MAN ONCE SAID
The wisest man once said,
''...of making many books there is no end;
and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep His commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.''
( Ecclesiastes 12:last half of verse 12-13 )
It`s not with wisdom of words
that Solomon spoke these verses.
He spent a life time in rehearses.
He had experienced
all there was to live at that time.
He had lived a life sublime.
As a young man, God told him
he could ask for three things:
riches, power or wisdom.
Solomon chose wisdom.
Because he chose wisdom,
God gave him all three.
Friends, God said that,
in the last days knowledge would increase,
This world would cry for safety and peace.
Men`s heart would fail because of fear.
Friends, Jesus` coming is drawing near.
Of all the books that has been written,
the Bible has lasted the longest.
The spoken Word is the strongest.
The Word of God is sharper
than any two edged sword.
It cuts both ways.
It reveals to us our sins
in so many ways.
It`s not by wisdom of words.
It`s not by power nor might.
It`s humble bowing on our knees,
Saying, ''Dear God forgive me please.
Jesus come into my heart
and be Saviour and Lord of my life.''
Jesus will save you from sin and strife.
He`ll create in you a new heart.
He`ll come in and give you a new start.
This old world is fading away.
The wise will be with God on that Day.
