Exquisite autumn night; crisp and cool
Like a finely scented woodsy blanket
Thrown over the bare shoulders of earth
A ballad sung by crickets and frogs
The river percolates songs of lovers

Are interrupted by raccoon chatter
As I draw my steaming bath,

Standing in our dimly lit room,

And whispers of desire breathed into my ear
Tickle of beard upon my nape and neck,
His scent fills my senses, claiming my desire

Teasing awakened buds
