THE CIRCUS IS IN TOWN

Circus Pictures, Images and Photos

Oh what a happy time it tis
When the circus comes to town.
It makes the children laugh and play
Some folks just wear a frown :-(

You can see lions, tigers and bears
And people who fly thru the air
Popcorn, Hot Dogs and Peanuts, of course
Just some of the thing you find at the fair

Children with eyes widely open
Making sure there's nothing they miss
For it isn't often the Circus is here
Some old folk just sit ~ reminisce.

The weather is hot under the tent
But kids don't seem to know
Their too intent in taking things in
Knowin' their just lucky to go.

It's been many a year since I went
But memories flood to my heart
Remembering all of the fun times
Just couldn't wait till it starts!

The music, the clowns and jugglers too
And real 'little people' to see
Mama and Daddy are ready to go
But stay when you say 'pretty please'

Aw yes, tis the time of the year now
The music still plays in my heart
The circus is coming to our town today
I just cannot wait till it starts!
