A Day With You in Thoughts
Thoughts of you penetrate
my mind each morning
upon awaking
I greet the day anew
with loving
day dreams of you.
All throughout the day
my mind continually wanders
over and out
toward your direction
longing for
your affection.
When evening returns
to end the wonderful day
again thoughts
of you also return
for your loving
I yearn.
Even the nights are better
because I have you
to cherish, protect
and love me
forever together
we'll be.
