A Christmas Tale Part 5

Mrs. Claus when she saw Seante
She almost had a fit
She was only gone a minute
To get her some wool to knit

She said “Well. I guess I’ll take you
Just to put you on this plate
Before somebody comes and eats you
And you meet a cookies fate

Still, inside that shell of gingerbread
Sweet Seante was still alive
So her human brain kept screaming
Yes you can... you must survive!

For you simply must get even
With the one who put you here
Watch out you bad blind poet
Just come touch me … if you dare

Well, right now lot of toys were rolling
Out of Santa’s factory doors
So Morning Song finally convinced him
He should open a toy store

She busily sent out fliers
Advertising we’re the best
So come shop right here at Santa’s
Were our prices beat the rest

Then dear Santa picked old Dr Dyr
As the cashier for his store
Believing her the only elf
Who was just right for that chore

She grew really excited
As he told her “don’t be late”
Neither of them realized
Just how they tempted fate

For it seemed the demon Jealousy
Once more raised its ugly head
When the thought (That should have been me)
Popped up in Rainspirit’s head

One day while running late for work
An incident took place
Rainspirit gave Old Doc a shove
Who fell flat on her face

When at last she raised her head up
Her two front teeth were gone
Tiny Teddy clapped her hands in glee
And began to sing a song

*“ All I want for Christmas, is my two front teeth
My two front teeth, my two front teeth
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
So I can wish you Merry SShristmas”*

Still laughing loud she ran away
But Morning song caught up
Put her hand across young Teddy’s mouth
Yelling little gal shut up

Do I have to tan your bottom?
How will I make you see?
That you’re lucky to be standing here
Near the pink lights on his tree

T’was then that the first customer
In a limo... just drove up
Stepped out and patted Teddy’s head
Like some sort of spotted pup

Seems Ms Theodora Onken
From the town of Bangor, Maine
Had heard about this real neat store
So in haste… of course SHE came

She brought her fine Dalmatian
With his big black spots galore
Morning song well she grew flustered
Seeing her walk through the door

Regally she approached the counter
Then saw Seante on her plate
Said I’d like to buy that cookie
I’ll just bet that it tastes great

To Bad Mac behind the counter
She said “Put that cookie in a sack
If it’s just not what I wanted
I’ll bring the rest right back

Bad Mac she tried to tell her
That the cookie girl was real
But Theodora just stood straighter
Her spine as strong as steel

She sneered “listen here young lady!
Do you realize who I am?
I’m a real blueblood… aristocrat
I was born in Amsterdam

I’m a spoiled brat I’m determined
And I always get my way
Now give me that big cookie
Then I’ll be on my way

More people stopped in Santa’s store
Mistymaiden… she showed up
Along with dear Joyce green of course
They had both been in their cups

Mistymaiden wanted baby dolls
Joyce Green she wanted drums
They had nieces... they had nephews
For great prices they had come

They made Blind Poet nervous
So she tried to hide away
But she couldn’t find the turtle shell
She’s stashed on Santa’s sleigh

Naughty Tiny Teddy took it
Now she wouldn’t give it back
So Blind Poet had to make do
With a big old green gift sack

By now big Al stood weeping
Marvin had him on the phone
Hollering about those toys
He needed for his home

Big Al his final nerve was shot
He wanted to be alone
Get away from all these people
How he wished he could go home

Well it’s time for Froggies dinner
So I’ll have to run away
But don’t you worry poet’s
I come back again this way

To bring you the next portion
Of this adventure tale
Bout how Teddy called her Momma
And wailed and wailed and wailed

Why is Teddy crying
I Just hope you come to see
What happens at the North Pole
Come! Share a laugh with me
