The Sparkle

The mood is festive.
The music is grand.
You ask her to dance,
And take her hand.
The evening delightful.
The party's in full swing.
The reason for the sparkle,
A perfect diamond ring.
With heart overjoyed,
And down on one knee,
You profess your love
And ask her to marry.
She says yes, oh yes,
I've loved you so long.
You ask her to dance.
They're playing your song.
